Spent Christmas at this lodge and it was a delightful experience. The breakfast was delicious and served in a cozy dining area. The location was great, offering easy access to plenty of local shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Best of all, the staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure guests had everything they needed.
There were no major issues during my stay, but the rooms were on the smaller side and lacked some of the amenities I'm used to in larger hotels. the cleaning staff tended to come early in the morning without knocking, which could be a bit startling.

This hotel is great value for money, with reasonable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the lovely view over the beautiful garden. The location is ideal for those who want a back-to-nature experience, with the New Forest just a short distance away. Additionally, the hotel provides a very nice eating area and is conveniently located near a pub.
Everything was absolutely fine.

We had an amazing time during our romantic escape in this lodge. the room was spacious with exquisite linens and the breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad and a variety of hot dishes to choose from. the location was perfect, as we were surrounded by charming pubs and restaurants, and we were able to explore the stunning New Forest park. We loved the fact that the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
The bathroom was a bit small for our taste, but it was clean and modern. the parking area was spacious enough, but we found it quite challenging to turn into the drive.

Located in the charming village of Ashurst, this budget-friendly lodge offers easy access to the beautiful New Forest. Guests can enjoy the convenience of having pubs and shops right next to the lodge, including the popular Happy Cheeses pub. the rooms are comfortable and provide a good night's sleep, with one guest praising the very comfy bed. the breakfast served at the lodge is delicious, with a cooked meal that is free of any excess fat and a refreshing fruit salad.
One guest mentioned a slight inconvenience during check-in, as they had to wait for a little longer than expected to be able to access their room.
